What Is a Quartz Broadcast Floor?
A quartz broadcast floor is built much like our flake system, but instead of vinyl flakes we broadcast color-coated quartz sand into the epoxy base coat before sealing it under a durable topcoat. The result is a dense, textured, extremely tough surface with a distinctive fine-grain aesthetic.
It can be installed in all the same places as a flake floor, but offers slightly more durability and traction along with a different, more granular look. That extra toughness and grip make it a favorite for demanding commercial spaces — locker rooms, animal-care and veterinary facilities, and food-processing or industrial areas.
Available as a decorative blend or a solid-color system.
In a decorative finish, blended quartz colors create the visible surface. In a solid-color system, the quartz is broadcast purely as a traction and strength additive, then coated in a single bold color — a popular choice for commercial kitchens, food-processing areas, and industrial spaces where grip and durability come first.
