Armor Floor Designs was never built around a trend. It was built around a passion.

Our story begins with years of experience in the refinishing industry. Our owner also operates a successful bathtub refinishing and repair company, where attention to detail, craftsmanship, and restoring surfaces have always been at the core of the business. While refinishing and coatings were already familiar territory, concrete coatings weren't originally part of the plan.

That changed with a simple project at home.

When it came time to refinish a solid wood slab bar top, our owner did what he's always done—rolled up his sleeves and figured it out himself. A lifelong believer in hard work, learning new skills, and doing things the right way, he began researching finishing methods and discovered epoxy coatings. What started as a solution for a single project quickly became an obsession with the material itself.

As he continued learning, he discovered that epoxy wasn't just being used on countertops and furniture—it was transforming garages, workshops, patios, and commercial spaces through advanced concrete coating systems. The deeper he explored the industry, the more he became fascinated by the combination of creativity and performance. Here was a product that could completely transform the appearance of concrete while also providing exceptional durability and long-term protection.

The endless design possibilities, custom finishes, and artistic expression behind decorative concrete coatings sparked an excitement that couldn't be ignored. What began as a DIY home project had evolved into a genuine passion and a vision for a new business.
