Grind n' Seal

What Is a Grind n' Seal?
A grind and seal is our most straightforward coating option. We grind down the surface of existing concrete to expose the natural aggregate underneath, then seal it with a clear or tinted protective topcoat. The result is a clean, polished, industrial-modern look that highlights the raw character of the concrete itself.
It can be applied to virtually any concrete surface, indoor or outdoor, and is the most budget-friendly option we offer. Color stains can be added to shift the tone, but the real beauty of this system comes from what the concrete already has to offer.
A Note on What to Expect
We believe in being upfront with our customers. With a grind and seal, the final appearance is largely determined by the concrete itself — specifically the type, size, and amount of aggregate used in the original mix. That's something that's hidden beneath the surface until the grinding process begins.
Every slab is different. Some reveal beautifully varied stone and aggregate that produce a striking terrazzo-like finish. Others may be more uniform or show less visual contrast. There are ways we can enhance the result with stains and tinted sealers, but ultimately, the concrete has the final say.
That's why we always discuss realistic expectations before starting a grind and seal project. We want you to love your floor — and part of that is understanding that this system delivers a naturally unique result, not a perfectly predictable one.
